Who am I...? - The Film

In the span of 65 years, the condition of minorities in Pakistan such as Hindus has been deteriorated from bad to worse and the demographic preview of Pakistani Hindus is just the example of unfortunate that they are going through. After freedom, the drastic decrease of Hindu population in Pakistan tells the complete story of plight, torture and cruelty that provokes Hindus to leave their homeland.Life in Pakistan – There is a terrible violation of basic human rights of Hindus in Pakistan. The atrocities with those who are minorities in an Islamic country is beyond imagination. The law and order is not meant for them, government and authorities turn a blind eye against every unlawful acts when it comes to Hindus. In short, they are denied by their own country and people. They live with the constant fear of abduction and rape of their minor girls and have limited source of earning livelihood. The tormented Hindus who almost spent their lives in Pakistan don’t want to risk the future of their children, they don’t want generations to pay the price of being a Hindu in Pakistan.

Life in India – With the high hopes, they’re coming to India. But the irony is that they were Hindus in an Islamic country and now they are Pakistani in India. Here they are now struggling for basic needs in refugee camps. The state and the central  government are not paying any attention to their problems. The condition of refugee camp is awful, there is no safety, security, education, employment, sanitation in the camp but only fake promises of politicians and organizations.

Our Point– As they come here with the excuse of pilgrimage, so technically it makes them migrants, but they’re running away because they have well- founded grounds for fear of persecution on account of their religion. Our point is, how does their refugee or migrant status, stops us and our government from helping them. Is just being a human not enough to provide them with basic amenities?

Our Idea – Our Team is trained from India Today Group, and we are specialized in Audio-Visual and Digital medium. Since we are a start up production house, we seek your support in making the film and its vigorous promotion afterwards, so as to raise complete awareness on this serious issue and help them through it.

With your generous contribution, we will be able make the first ever detailed film on them, and pitch it to concerned authorities/parties/person/organizations. The more their issues would be visible the more is the chance of help and support from India and around the globe.
